Kumamoto Electric Railway to Implement Major Service Reductions from February 3 Due to a Shortage of Train Drivers
JR West has resumed operations of the Hokuriku Shinkansen between Toyama and Kanazawa stations around 10:34 AM after they were suspended due to the Noto Peninsula earthquake that occurred on the first of the month.
Only the “Tsurugi” service is operating between Toyama and Kanazawa stations. The “Tsurugi 704” bound for Toyama is running with a delay of approximately 40 minutes.
Operations of the “Kagayaki” and “Hakutaka” services between Nagano and Toyama stations are expected to resume in the afternoon at the earliest.
