JR West announced that today, the 4th, they will operate the ‘Hikari’ service on the Sanyo Shinkansen with all cars being non-reserved seats.
The ‘Hikari 692’ service departs from Hakata Station at 1:51 PM and arrives at Shin-Osaka Station at 4:21 PM. It’s operated with an 8-car N700 series trainset.
All cars are non-reserved seats, and passengers can sit in any open seat with a non-reserved seat express ticket. Green car reserved tickets will be sold inside the train.
