Kagaya Group Temporarily Suspends Operations at Four Inns in Wakura Onsen – No Prospect for Resumption After February
Following the severe damage caused by the Noto Peninsula earthquake, Kagaya Group’s hotels in Wakura Onsen will be temporarily ceasing operations for the foreseeable future.
Initially, reservations up to the end of January were cancelled, but the prospect of resuming operations remains unclear even after February.
The operations of Kagaya, Aenokaze, Kagaya Annex Matsunomidori, and Niji to Umi are to be suspended. It is reported that the earthquake has not only damaged the facilities’ buildings but has also caused extensive damage to local infrastructure such as water, gas, and roads.
Those who made reservations through travel agencies are advised to contact the agencies they booked with, while those who booked directly through the company’s website or online travel sites are asked to proceed with the cancellation process themselves.
