‘Hoshino Resort 1955 Tokyo Bay’ to Open on June 20th, Rebranding the Former Tokyo Bay Tokyu Hotel
Hoshino Resorts announces the opening of ‘Hoshino Resort 1955 Tokyo Bay’ on June 20th. Reservations began on January 17th.
The rebranding involves the former Tokyo Bay Tokyu Hotel, which ceased operations on December 31st, 2023. This marks Hoshino Resort’s first venture into the Maihama/Urayasu area.
The concept, ‘OLDIES GOODIES,’ reflects the design of the interiors, emulating the 1955 American aesthetic around the time the world’s first Disneyland was created. The hotel offers 638 rooms, all of which allow guests to enjoy their stay without shoes.
The ‘2nd Room’ is a public space where guests can use freely 24 hours a day, before check-in and after check-out. It includes areas where guests can relax without shoes and spaces that can be used as semi-private areas.
At the ‘Cafeteria,’ open during late nights and early mornings, guests can enjoy various dishes such as bowls, hot deli, and cold deli. The ‘Restaurant’ offers a breakfast buffet and operates from 6 a.m. The 24-hour shop sells snacks and confectionery.
Access to the hotel is approximately 15 minutes by bus from JR Keiyo Line’s Shin-Urayasu Station and about 30 minutes from Tokyo Disney Resort by bus. A free shuttle bus service is also provided.
