ANA to Resume Nearly All Flights by Late July as P&W Engine Inspection Issues Subside
All Nippon Airways (ANA) has announced that the impact of engine inspections for Pratt & Whitney (P&W) engines is gradually being resolved and that they expect to operate nearly all flights by the end of July.
Inspection work on the PW1100G-JM engines installed in 11 Airbus A320neo aircraft and 22 Airbus A321neo aircraft, a total of 33 aircraft, has been causing flight cancellations since January.
From January 10 to March 30, approximately 30 flights per day were cancelled, impacting a total of 2,412 flights across 22 domestic and international routes.See the affected flights here.
