GO and the Narita International Airport Taxi Operation Committee will add Narita International Airport to the list of locations where the taxi hailing app ‘GO’ can arrange rides.
Starting February 1, as part of a pilot experiment, rides can be booked from taxi stand number 15 at Terminal 1 and taxi stand 31-A at Terminal 2. The fixed airport taxi fare will be applied after confirming with the driver upon boarding, provided that the vehicle and the destination are eligible.
Currently, the app also supports ordering rides from other locations, including Haneda Airport, Fukuoka Airport, Matsuyama Airport, and Chubu Centrair International Airport.
‘GO’ is a taxi hailing app based on ‘MOV’, which was launched in September 2020. It enhances the accuracy of matching app users with nearby taxis through real-time location sharing with taxi vehicles and advanced dispatch logic. The app also supports credit card and QR code payments and can issue electronic receipts.
