Japan Airlines (JAL) will gradually introduce the Airbus A350-1000 aircraft on three routes departing from and arriving in Tokyo/Haneda.
Within the fiscal year 2024, the deployment is planned for Tokyo/Haneda to Dallas/Fort Worth, Tokyo/Haneda to New York/John F. Kennedy on JL4/3 flights, and Tokyo/Haneda to London/Heathrow on JL43/44 flights.
JAL commenced the first commercial service of the Airbus A350-1000 on January 24, initially operating the aircraft on alternate days on the JL6/5 flights from Tokyo/Haneda to New York/John F. Kennedy, planning to increase this to daily service from February 2. Following the receipt of the third aircraft, it was stated that the service would be extended to the Tokyo/Haneda to Dallas/Fort Worth route.
The Airbus A350-1000 aircraft is configured with 239 seats across four classes: 6 First Class, 54 Business Class, 24 Premium Economy, and 155 Economy Class seats. Both First Class and Business Class feature suites with doors.
