Japan Airlines (JAL) has started offering original cocktails at the “JAL’s SALON” in the JAL First-Class Lounge at Haneda Airport International Terminal, supervised by the bartender Shinobu Hogo.
As the first installment, two types of cocktails, alcoholic and non-alcoholic, were introduced on January 24th to celebrate the inauguration of the Airbus A350-1000 model.
The “Kokuto Espresso Martini,” based on the Okinawan brown sugar liqueur “Kokuto de Lequio,” which faces problems like producer aging and stock issues, and the fruity non-alcoholic cocktail “Sky Sling”, which uses JAL’s original drink “SKYTIME” and cascara, the outer peel and pulp of the coffee bean, are available.
Cocktails supervised by Shinobu Hogo have been offered in international first class and business class since November 2023.
