The Metropolitan Intercity Railway Company will carry out a timetable revision on March 16.
To improve convenience for Yashio Station and its surrounding stations, Yashio Station will be added to the stops for rapid trains. The fastest travel time between Akihabara and Tsukuba stations on rapid trains remains unchanged at 45 minutes, with a total of 10 stations being stops.
During weekday morning rush hours, two additional round trips of local trains will be introduced between Yashio and Akihabara stations. Additionally, there will be changes to the weekday evening rush hour schedules and one additional rapid service train in the inbound direction.
