
JR Hokkaido to Produce New Tourist Trains ‘Red Star’ and ‘Blue Star’: Designer Eiji Mitooka’s Final Work
Hiroshima Electric Railway and Calbee have started operating a train wrapped in ‘Kappa Ebisen’ designs from February 5th.
This initiative commemorates the 60th anniversary of the launch of Calbee’s product ‘Kappa Ebisen’. A ‘Train Jacking’ event, decorating the interior advertisements and such with ‘Kappa Ebisen’, will also take place until March 4th.
The service runs between Hiroshima Station and Hiroden Miyajimaguchi Station, making 3-4 round trips daily. The operation period lasts until February 4th, 2025.
