Chubu Centrair International Airport has introduced fuel cell buses for its terminal shuttle service starting January 30th.
The fuel cell buses operate from 5:30 AM to 2:00 PM, and diesel buses take over from there until 10:50 PM. There is a hydrogen station at Centrair, and fuel cell forklifts (FC forklifts) are used for cargo area operations. Additionally, fuel cell buses had previously been utilized for the shuttle service between AEON MALL Tokoname and Centrair.
