JAL Offers Discount on Award Tickets for Its 70th Anniversary of International Flights: One-Way to Doha Available Starting at 10,000 Miles

Japan Airlines (JAL) is launching a ‘Mileage Discount Campaign for Award Tickets’ to celebrate the 70th anniversary of its international flights.

The promotion targets reservations made with the basic mileage by JAL Mileage Bank members, offering a 30% reduction in the necessary miles, except for the Tokyo/Haneda to Doha route, which will offer a 50% discount as it commences operations on March 31. The reservation period is from February 8 to 29, with different eligible boarding periods for each route.

The necessary miles for one-way tickets are as follows: 7,000 miles for economy class to Guam, 14,000 miles for economy class to Honolulu, 16,800 to 28,000 miles for business class to Southeast Asia with 8,400 to 12,250 miles for economy, 35,000 miles for business class to North America with 17,500 miles for economy, and 25,000 miles for business class to Doha with 10,000 miles for economy. Some routes and classes are excluded from the discount.
