All Nippon Airways (ANA) is undertaking initiatives to support disaster relief and encourage recovery following the Noto Peninsula earthquake.
Except for some areas in Ishikawa and Toyama Prefectures, lodging and tourist facilities in the Hokuriku region are generally operating as usual. Therefore, to promote the use of Komatsu, Toyama, and Niigata airports and support the region, these initiatives are being implemented.
From February 9 to 15, the “ANA SUPER VALUE SALE” will include flights departing from and arriving at Komatsu, Toyama, and Niigata. The travel period is from March to June, excluding the Golden Week. Fares from Tokyo/Haneda to Komatsu, for example, start from 7,700 yen.
Moreover, the “This Week’s Tokutabi Miles” program, which allows the exchange of miles for award tickets at a lower rate than usual, will include all flights departing from and arriving at Komatsu, Toyama, and Niigata. The reservation period is from February 21 to 27, and the travel period is from February 22 to 28.
The “Japan Travel Planner”, which provides information on tourist spots for visitors to Japan, will feature an article on the Kanazawa area and launch special pages for Niigata, Toyama, Fukui, and Ishikawa in mid-February.
In addition, ANA is also engaging in other initiatives such as donations for disaster support through ANA’s hometown tax program, offering free flights to disaster support personnel, and cooperating in the transport of relief supplies.
