North Atlantic Airways has extended the sublease period for Boeing 787 aircraft.
Three Boeing 787-8 aircraft will have their lease extended by up to one year, with returns accepted from the end of March to the end of May 2025. The Boeing 787-9 aircraft are expected to be returned as early as May this year, in preparation for the summer travel season.
North Atlantic Airways owns 15 Boeing 787 aircraft on lease, based on terms agreed upon in the historic low prices of 2021, resulting in contracts with overall low prices for the entire lease term. The airline anticipates increased cash income through the sublease.
