JR East Releases ‘Kyun Pass’: Unlimited Rides for ¥10,000 on Weekdays Including Shinkansen, Plus New Two-Day Option
JR East Offers 4-Day Unlimited Ride Pass for Hokuriku Area; Including Round-trip Shinkansen from Tokyo for 20,000 Yen
JR East will release the “Hokuriku Support Free Pass” as a special ticket plan to support the areas affected by the Noto Peninsula Earthquake.
The pass allows unlimited rides on express trains including Shinkansens and ordinary trains within the Hokuriku free area for four consecutive days. Additionally, a round trip to the free area from the Tokyo metropolitan area on reserved Shinkansen seats is available once. The eligible trains for the outbound trip are “Kagayaki” or “Hakutaka” and only “Hakutaka” for the return trip.
The price for adults is 20,000 yen, with no child ticket option available. The offer period is from February 16th to March 15th. Tickets can be purchased from February 15th to March 11th, up until the day before the start of use, at JR East’s major station ticket vending machines.
