Qantas Airways Reveals Interior of the Airbus A220-300
Qantas Airways has announced the interior of the Airbus A220-300 aircraft operated by QantasLink.
Out of the 29 aircraft ordered, two have already been received and are expected to take over from the Boeing 717.
The business class features a ‘2-2’ seating arrangement with 10 seats, while the economy class has a ‘2-3’ seating arrangement with 127 seats, totaling 137 seats. Each seat comes with a personal device holder and USB-A and USB-C power sources. In addition, business class offers wireless charging. High-speed complimentary Wi-Fi and streaming in-flight entertainment are also available.
Operations will commence on March 1st on the Melbourne to Canberra and Brisbane routes. From July, they will extend to the Melbourne to Hobart route, in October to the Melbourne to Coffs Harbour route, and in November to the Melbourne to Launceston route.
