American Express International has commenced the issuance and acceptance of applications for the “American Express Gold Preferred Card” starting from noon, February 20th.
The card offers various amenities including airport lounge access, complimentary baggage delivery service, Prince Status Service Gold Member, Priority Pass, complimentary porter service, airport cloak service, and a 20% cashback on the restaurant reservation service “Pocket Concierge” (up to 10,000 yen annually).
As a continuing card benefit, spending over 2 million yen (including tax) annually qualifies for a “Free Stay Gift”, which offers a complimentary overnight stay for two at domestic premium hotels, and a 10,000 yen travel credit usable for hotel reservations through American Express Travel Online.
The “Membership Rewards Plus” program, which has no expiry date for points under the “Membership Rewards”, and a bonus points program offering 3 points for every 100 yen spent at popular online shops and other participating stores, are provided without any participation fee or registration requirement.
The annual fee is 39,600 yen (tax included). The family card can be obtained for free for up to two cards, with a fee of 19,800 yen (tax included) from the third card onwards. The card is metal.
