Thai Airways has entered into a long-term lease agreement for three Boeing 787-9 aircraft with Air Lease Corporation (ALC).
The aircraft, part of ALC’s order book, will be delivered in 2025 and deployed on routes to Europe, Australia, and Asia.
Steven F. Udvar-Hazy, Executive Chairman of ALC, expressed his delight, saying, “We are pleased to announce the transaction of three Boeing 787-9 aircraft with Thai Airways, a new customer for us.” He added, “ALC is honored to have these three Dreamliners added to Thai Airways’ expanding widebody fleet and looks forward to a long-term relationship with the airline.”
