Marriott International and Cathay Pacific have strengthened their strategic partnership by mutually providing benefits to their elite members.
Marriott Bonvoy Platinum, Titanium, and Ambassador Elite members can acquire Silver membership status with Cathay, while Cathay Silver, Gold, and Diamond members can attain Marriott Bonvoy Gold Elite membership status. The registration period is from February 26 to February 25, 2025 (Hong Kong time).
Furthermore, as a fast track based on certain period usage, earning 300 status points within 12 months grants Cathay Gold membership, and staying for 10 nights within 6 months grants Marriott Bonvoy Platinum Elite membership status.
In a two-way points exchange program, 3 Marriott Bonvoy points can be exchanged for 1 Asia Mile, and 2 Asia Miles can be exchanged for 1 Marriott Bonvoy point. Moreover, exchanging 60,000 Marriott Bonvoy points at once will earn a bonus of 5,000 Asia Miles.
