WILLER has started a “QR Code Boarding Service” for the express bus, WILLER EXPRESS, from February 27.
Those who have pre-booked and paid can board smoothly just by having the bus crew scan the “Boarding QR Code” at the time of boarding reception. This service aims to make it easier and more convenient for a wide range of people both in Japan and internationally to use.
Previously, it was necessary to convey a reservation number or name, and visually check from the passenger list on the reception terminal. Lines where this service was introduced ahead in July 2023 have been well received by users, and there are reports that it has led to a reduction in the workload of bus crew reception duties.
