Mitsui Garden Hotel Kyoto Sanjo will close its doors on June 10.
It first opened in September 1989 as Sanjo Karasuma Hotel Kyoto, and was rebranded in October 2005. The hotel underwent renovations in 2010, focusing on guest rooms and the lobby, and has been open ever since. It boasts 169 guest rooms, a restaurant, and a garden bath.
The hotel is conveniently located about a 1-minute walk from Karasuma Oike Subway Station, and about a 10-minute drive from Kyoto Station.
