Weird Hotel Kyoto Hachijoguchi has been offering “Shinkansen Collaboration Rooms”, decorated with Shinkansen (bullet train) themes, from February 9.
From the room, guests can view the Tokaido Shinkansen departing and arriving at JR Kyoto Station. The interior decorations include walls and beds, and the room is equipped with 500 series Shinkansen plush toys, toys, and books. Guests can also enjoy playing “Densha de GO! PLUG & PLAY2 Sanyo Shinkansen Edition EX”, a simulation of driving a Shinkansen.
The room rate (including tax and service charge) starts from 18,000 yen per night for room only and from 21,200 yen with breakfast. Guests will receive a ticket to the Kyoto Railway Museum and an original keyholder as presents.
