Kowa is set to open the art museum hotel ‘Espacio Hakone Guest House RinHouKiRyuu’ in Miyanoshita, Hakone Town, this spring.
The facility consists of nine private residential buildings and a spa salon, equipped with private pools and hot springs. The design and decorations of each building are handled by selected artists, featuring traditional Japanese crafts and techniques such as dyeing, karakami, kumiko, lacquer, and plasterwork.
The hot spring features an open-air bath and an indoor bath, sourced from Dogashima Onsen, one of the Hakone Seven Hot Springs. Room keys, yukata, and chopsticks can be customized. The spa salon includes a treatment room with two beds and a bedrock bath.
Access is approximately 30 minutes by car from Odawara Station and about 15 minutes from Hakone-Yumoto Station.
