Qatar Airways will be changing its departure and arrival airport for Goa, India, starting June 20.
Currently, flights depart and arrive at Dabolim Airport in South Goa, but from June 20, operations will move to Mopa International Airport in North Goa, a newly opened airport.
Mopa International Airport opened in December 2022 and hosts strategic partners such as IndiGo and Oman Air. It’s well-equipped with cargo facilities and boasts excellent accessibility to hotels and public transportation.
The flight schedule will remain the same, with one round trip per day operated by either an Airbus A320 or a Boeing 787. The last flight from the current airport will depart from Doha on June 19, and from Goa on June 20.
Qatar Airways currently flies to 13 Indian cities: Ahmedabad, Amritsar, Bengaluru, Kozhikode, Chennai, Delhi, Goa, Hyderabad, Kochi, Kolkata, Mumbai, Nagpur, and Thiruvananthapuram.
