JR East Service Creation and JR Tokai Retailing Plus will release the “Sujata Ice Cream (Kyoto Uji Matcha)” on March 16.
This is the second product following the ‘Zunda flavor’, selected and sold in collaboration by the attendants and pursers of both companies. It is a premium matcha ice cream with 12% milk fat, made exclusively from tea leaves grown in Kyoto Prefecture, offering a sophisticated and rich flavor that spreads the aroma of tea leaves throughout the mouth.
The price is 450 yen (tax included). It will be sold on the Tokaido, Tohoku, Akita, Yamagata, Joetsu, and Hokuriku Shinkansen lines, some limited express trains, part of the stores, vending machines, etc. The JR-PLUS online shop also sells it in packs of 11 (5,980 yen including tax) and packs of 6 (4,280 yen including tax).
