Diners Club to Open ‘Osaka Umeda Premium Lounge’ on March 14
Sumitomo Mitsui Trust Club is set to open the ‘Diners Club Osaka Umeda Premium Lounge’ on March 14, its first directly managed lounge in the Kansai area.
The lounge is established in response to many members’ requests, located next to the Sumitomo Mitsui Trust Bank Umeda Branch on the second floor of the Hankyu Grand Building in Osaka’s Umeda area. The lounge is available to Diners Club premium card members.
The lounge features Arflex-made sofa seats, counter seats, and offers free drinks, complimentary Wi-Fi, and luggage storage. It operates from 11:30 AM to 7:00 PM, closed on Mondays and during the New Year’s holiday period.
To celebrate the opening, a restaurant discount campaign at a nearby large commercial facility and experiential ticket gifts for new members besides the premium card holders will be conducted in May.
Diners Club opened its first directly managed members-only lounge in Tokyo’s Ginza in 2012, providing complimentary soft drinks and tea sweets, as well as concierge services such as restaurant reservations in the Ginza area, special store recommendations, and privileged plans.
