Air France is celebrating its 90th anniversary with a retrospective uniform fashion show and a special dress exhibition in Tokyo’s Yurakucho.
The event is conducted in collaboration with “Tokyo Creative Salon 2024,” one of the largest festivals of fashion and design in Japan.
Air France’s uniforms have been designed by icons of the French haute couture world, such as Christian Dior, Cristobal Balenciaga, and Christian Lacroix. The venue is the Yurakucho Marion Center Mall, with events scheduled for March 20th at noon and 12:45 PM.
Additionally, Hankyu Men’s Tokyo will display a special dress from a collection supervised by Xavier Ronze, a French designer who heads the costume department of the Paris Opera Ballet. This piece has been previously exclusively shown at the Galeries Lafayette Paris Haussmann and Air France headquarters, marking its first public exhibition outside of France. The display is located near the first-floor entrance, from March 19th to 24th.
