Kinki Nippon Tourist will start selling the ‘Hokuriku Support Discount’ for Ishikawa Prefecture from March 12.
Sales for Toyama Prefecture and Niigata Prefecture have already begun on March 8 and ended on the same day. Fukui Prefecture will not participate.
The ‘Hokuriku Support Discount’ is a travel support program implemented for Fukui, Ishikawa, Toyama, and Niigata prefectures, which were affected by the Noto Peninsula Earthquake. It covers stays from March 16 to April 26 (check-out the next day), providing subsidies for accommodation.
The discount rate is equivalent to 50% of the travel fee. The discount limit for single-night stays and travel with transportation included is 20,000 yen, for stays of two nights or more with transportation it’s 30,000 yen, and for circuitous travels staying in two or more prefectures, it’s 35,000 yen. The subsidy is available for domestic travelers and visitors to Japan, excluding business-related travel and accommodations, and reservations made before the start of the promotion.
