Hawaiian Airlines is set to increase the frequency of flights on the Fukuoka-Honolulu route starting August 1.
Currently, flights from Fukuoka operate on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Saturdays, while flights from Honolulu operate on Tuesdays, Fridays, and Sundays, making it three round trips per week. Starting the same day, Thursday flights from Fukuoka and Wednesday flights from Honolulu will be added. This move will enable popular travel schedules, such as a 5-night, 7-day trip, as the demand increases post-COVID. Furthermore, it provides connectivity from Fukuoka to 12 mainland U.S. cities and from Fukuoka to 11 mainland U.S. cities.
The aircraft used for this route will be the Airbus A330-200, featuring 18 seats in Business Class, 68 seats in Extra Comfort, and 192 seats in Main Cabin, totalling 278 seats.
