Tokyu Corporation has started operating wrapping trains designed with the Shinkansen theme from March 4.
As part of the ‘enjoy WEST’ promotion, the initiative aims to encourage the use of the Tokaido & Sanyo Shinkansen from Shin-Yokohama Station on the Tokyu Shin-Yokohama Line. The wrapping features a Series 3020 train, used on the Tokyu Meguro Line, which has been decorated with two blue lines on its side with the full cooperation of JR Central, along with a headmark sticker using the first anniversary logo of the Sotetsu-Tokyu Shin-Yokohama Line.
The operation routes include the Sotetsu Main Line and Izumino Line, Tokyu Shin-Yokohama Line and Meguro Line, Tokyo Metro Namboku Line, Toei Mita Line, and Saitama Rapid Transit Railway Saitama Stadium Line.
