Turkish Airlines has inaugurated its Istanbul-Singapore-Melbourne route on March 1.
Melbourne hosts Australia’s largest Turkish community. This represents the airline’s first venture onto the Australian continent, expanding its network to 346 cities across 130 countries. The start date was moved forward from the initially scheduled March 15.
Flights from Istanbul are on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, while flights from Melbourne depart on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays, operating three round trips per week. The airline plans to introduce aircraft capable of direct flights in the coming years.
