Yahoo Travel Launches ‘Hokuriku Support Discount’ Starting March 14 at Noon
LINE Yahoo announces the launch of the ‘Hokuriku Support Discount’ on its travel booking site ‘Yahoo! Travel’ starting from noon on March 14.
The promotion will be available for accommodations in Ishikawa Prefecture, Niigata Prefecture, and Toyama Prefecture. Fukui Prefecture is excluded. It will not be implemented in the dynamic package ‘Yahoo Pack’.
The ‘Hokuriku Support Discount’ is a travel support initiative targeting Ishikawa Prefecture, Fukui Prefecture, Toyama Prefecture, and Niigata Prefecture, which were affected by the Noto Peninsula Earthquake. Subsidies will be provided for stays from March 16 to April 26 (with check-out the next day). The discount rate is equivalent to 50% of the travel cost. The maximum discount for single accommodation and transport-inclusive overnight trips is 20,000 yen, for transport-inclusive overnight trips of more than two nights is 30,000 yen, and for touring trips staying in more than two prefectures is 35,000 yen. The subsidy is aimed at domestic and visiting tourists, excluding business-related travels and accommodations, and reservations made before the start of the initiative.
