China Eastern Airlines is set to gradually increase its flights on the Nagoya/Chubu to Shanghai/Pudong route to four round trips per day.
From March 31, flights MU719/720 will increase from four round trips a week to one round trip daily. Additionally, from April 23 (departing Nagoya/Chubu the next day), flights MU291/292 will resume operation at one round trip daily, and from April 26, flights MU229/230 will commence as a new daily round trip.
This route resumed operations on May 18, 2023, after approximately three years and three months, initially with two round trips a week. It then increased to five round trips a week from August 1, to one round trip daily from August 18, to ten round trips a week from October 5, and further to eleven round trips a week from February 26, 2024.
Including the daily round trip operated by Shanghai Airlines, a member of the same group, the service will operate a total of five round trips per day.
