Tobu Railway and Asahi Beverages will operate the Ryomo ‘Calpis’ EXPRESS starting from March 31.
The intention is to promote the charm of the Tatebayashi area by repainting a set of six 200 series express train cars in white and blue, the colors associated with ‘Calpis’. The train will operate on the Tobu Skytree Line, Isesaki Line, and through the Kiryu route.
On the launch date of March 31, they will offer special plans to visit the Asahi Beverages Gunma Factory and the ‘Calpis Future Museum’ in Tatebayashi, as well as a departure ceremony at Asakusa Station, and the sale of special collaboration commemorative tickets.
