
JAL Reduces Fuel Surcharge for Issuances from June Onwards, Round-trip to Europe/US at 58,000 Yen
Korean Air has contracted with Viasat to install in-flight Wi-Fi on 40 of its Boeing 787 aircraft.
This follows a previous contract for 30 Airbus A321neo aircraft, bringing the total to 70 aircraft equipped with Viasat products. The installation is expected to be completed by 2027. In addition to web browsing, the service will also enable video and audio streaming.
Korean Air plans to launch its in-flight Wi-Fi service in 2023. Currently, the service is available only on Boeing 737-8 and Airbus A321neo aircraft, which are equipped with Viasat and Panasonic Avionics products.
