Malaysia Airlines has announced the seating for its Airbus A330-900 aircraft.
The aircraft will have a total of 297 seats. The business class will feature 28 seats equipped with the Collins Aerospace Elevation, complete with doors and wireless charging capabilities. The economy class will sport 269 seats fitted with the Recaro Aircraft Seating’s CL3810.
As part of its fleet modernization plan, Malaysia Airlines plans to take delivery of the first Airbus A330-900 aircraft in the third quarter of this year. A total of 20 aircraft have been ordered, half of which will undergo sale-and-leaseback, while the remainder will be leased from Avolon. This move aims to replace the existing Airbus A330 fleet.
