Develop has opened the container hotel ‘HOTEL R9 The Yard Kurashiki’ on March 25.
The container hotel, utilizing architectural container modules, features independent rooms that do not share walls with adjacent rooms, thus offering superior soundproofing and privacy. In times of emergency, it can serve as a ‘rescue hotel,’ taking on roles such as a shelter.
The guest rooms include 37 double rooms and 5 twin rooms, totaling 42 rooms of two types. Its location provides excellent access from various industrial zones in the city, making it an ideal lodging base for business stays. Convenience stores, supermarkets, and restaurants are within walking distance, ensuring a comfortable stay even during long-term accommodations.
Access to the hotel is 15 minutes by car from the Sanyo Expressway Tamashima Interchange (IC), 20 minutes by car from the Seto Central Expressway Mizushima IC, 15 minutes by car from JR Shin-Kurashiki Station, and 30 minutes by car from JR Kurashiki Station.
