JR East Offers 50% Discount on Central Line Express Trains with Ticketless Express Tickets Starting April 1
JR East will offer a 50% discount on the ordinary car reserved seats of the Central Line Express trains “Azusa” and “Kaiji” through the “Ekinet Tokuda-ne (Ticketless Express Ticket)” from April 1 to June 30.
The ticketless express tickets sold exclusively on Ekinet cover main sections such as Tokyo/Shinjuku to Kofu Station for 790 yen (normally 1,580 yen), Tokyo/Shinjuku to Chino Station for 1,120 yen (normally 2,240 yen), Tokyo/Shinjuku to Matsumoto Station for 1,270 yen (normally 2,550 yen), and more. A separate railway ticket is required when using this service.
The tickets will be on sale from 10 a.m., one month before the ride until the departure time of the train. From July 1, the discount will be 35% throughout the year.
