Solare Hotels and Resorts opened ‘hotel anddoggy Kyoto Nijo’ on March 22.
The building is five stories high. There are 42 rooms in total, including double, twin, and universal rooms. In addition to providing steps for dogs to easily climb in and out of bed and dog amenities, cage and pet cart rentals are also available. The hotel features a lounge and cafe with slaloms and play toys where dogs can play without leashes. During cafe operating hours, guests can enjoy free drink service. Dogs up to 30 kg are allowed to stay.
For breakfast, open sandwiches are served, and several breakfast menu options are available for dogs as well. From 8 pm to 10 pm, there is also a service providing complimentary midnight snacks including hot dogs and curry cabbage.
Access is a 3-minute walk from Nijojo-mae Station on the municipal Tozai Line.
