‘Caption by Hyatt Namba Osaka’ is set to open on June 12, with reservations starting from April 2.
This marks the first entry into Japan for the hotel brand, which is known for its casual and unique lifestyle approach closely integrated with the local community. The brand was announced in 2019, and the first hotel opened in Memphis, USA, in June 2022.
The facility is an 11-story building including 167 rooms. The accommodations come in two varieties and seven types: a standard room with 20 square meters of space, and a deluxe room with 30 square meters. The hotel is equipped with dining, event & community facilities, fitness center, and coin laundry. It is operated by Granvista Hotels & Resorts under a franchise contract executed by Sankei Building and a Hyatt affiliate.
Access is approximately a 5-minute walk from Nipponbashi Station on the Osaka Metro Sakaisuji Line and Kintetsu Namba Line, and about a 6-minute walk from Namba Station on the Nankai Main Line. Kuromon Market and Namba Grand Kagetsu are also within walking distance.
