PayPay has started supporting the payment of parking violation fines through “PayPay bill payment” from April 1.
The service is available for parking violation fines issued by the Tokyo Metropolitan Police Department, Hyogo Prefectural Police, Yamaguchi Prefectural Police, Chiba Prefectural Police, and Saitama Prefectural Police. Previously, it was necessary to present a payment slip at a linked bank for payment. Now, by scanning the barcode or QR code on the payment slip and tapping “pay”, payment can be made through the app.
