Hokuto Kotsu will be reducing the number of buses on two routes connecting New Chitose Airport with the city of Sapporo from April 8th for the foreseeable future.
The Maruyama route will see a reduction from Sapporo city with 5 buses (a reduction of 3 buses), and from New Chitose Airport with 4 buses (a reduction of 4 buses). The Makomanai route will have 5 buses from Sapporo city (a reduction of 3 buses), and from New Chitose Airport with 4 buses (a reduction of 4 buses).
Both routes are solely operated by Hokuto Kotsu. The reason given for the reduction is due to a shortage of drivers among other factors.
