Air Canada launched its Vancouver to Singapore route on April 3rd.
Flights from Vancouver are scheduled for Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday, while flights from Singapore are set for Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday, and Sunday. The flight duration is 16 hours and 5 minutes from Vancouver, and 14 hours and 45 minutes from Singapore.
This route becomes the only direct flight between Canada and Singapore and is Air Canada’s longest route. It offers convenient connections from all over North America as well as Southeast Asia, Southern India, and Western Australia. A three-class Boeing 787-9 aircraft is utilized for this route.
This marks Air Canada’s first comeback to Singapore in 30 years. Singapore is known as a leading financial center with abundant tourism and gourmet experiences, thus the route is anticipated to attract both business travelers and tourists.
