IHG Hotels & Resorts has agreed to open ‘voco Seoul Myeongdong’ in Seoul, South Korea.
A contract was signed with Gravity Asset Management and Hotel HDC, planning to rebrand an existing hotel and open it in the middle of this year. It will be the second ‘voco’ brand hotel in South Korea.
The hotel will feature 576 rooms, an all-day dining restaurant, over 140 square meters of multi-purpose meeting space, an indoor pool, a fitness center, a business center, and a lounge. It is also conveniently located near business areas and tourist spots.
IHG Hotels & Resorts has been expanding the ‘voco’ brand, launched in 2018, worldwide, with 62 properties already opened and 74 under development. In South Korea, IHG operates nine properties across four brands, with three more under development.
