ANA Akindo has revamped its “ANA’s Hometown Tax Donation” website.
For every 100 yen donated, one mile can be earned in this hometown tax donation service, which allows the choice of local specialties from various municipalities or travel products as thank-you gifts.
In the case of travel products, donors receive a coupon worth 30% of the donation amount. A portion of the tax for the next fiscal year or later can be refunded or deducted. If donations are made to five or fewer municipalities within the year, it is eligible for the “Hometown Tax Donation One-Stop Special Exception,” which means filing a tax return is not required.
