
Sukesan Udon Opens a Pop-up Restaurant in Tokyo for a Limited Time: July 13 to 15
A delegation from the Taiwan Tourism Bureau and the Taiwan Tourism Agency visited Japan to hold an update seminar and business meetings for the travel industry.
Approximately 50 people came from Taiwan, and about 150 participants from the travel industry and media were present from Japan.
Zhou Yonghui, the Director-General of the Ministry of Transportation and Tourism, expressed his gratitude, stating, “Shortly after the earthquake, we received an overwhelming number of warm messages of condolence and encouragement from the people of Japan, filling us with gratitude and emotion every day.” Ye Jukelan, Chairman of the Taiwan Tourism Association, also emphasized that “traveling to Taiwan can also indirectly support Taiwan.”
In the aftermath of the earthquake in eastern Taiwan, rescue and recovery efforts have been prioritized. Railways and roads in the affected areas have been restored, and major airports and railways are operating normally, sharing that the environment is ready for enjoyment during the Golden Week and the summer travel season.
