AirAsia will resume its flight operations between Kuala Lumpur and Vientiane from July 2.
The route will be operated twice a week on Tuesdays and Saturdays, utilizing the Airbus A320 aircraft. This will mark the resumption of operations to all 10 ASEAN countries.
The Lao government has set a goal to attract 2.7 million foreign tourists by 2024. In 2019, AirAsia transported 50,000 passengers on this route.
