Lufthansa German Airlines Introduces New ‘Allegris’ Cabin Specification Starting May 1

Lufthansa German Airlines has announced the introduction of its new cabin specification, ‘Lufthansa Allegris,’ starting May 1.

Installed on the received Airbus A350-900 aircraft, the first of these will be deployed on the Munich to Vancouver route. It will subsequently be employed on the Munich to Toronto route, alternating between the two routes. Plans are in place to extend the deployment to Munich to Chicago and Montreal routes in the summer.

The ‘First Class Suite Plus’ boasts a width of about 1 meter, equipped with temperature control features tailored to the user’s preference. It allows smartphones to be connected to the in-flight entertainment system. The walls and doors extend to the ceiling, creating a completely private room.

The new Business Class is characterized by offering multiple seat types, developed by Thompson Aero Seating. The front-row ‘Suites’ with doors ensure privacy with high partitions and sliding doors. The central seats can adjust the partition up and down, catering for dual occupancy. The monitors are 4K compatible, boasting a 27-inch large screen. It is mentioned that seats comparable to First Class can be provided even on aircraft that cannot install First Class.

While seats other than those in the front row do not have doors, they are arranged in a staggered layout for a sense of private space. The ‘Extra Space Seats’ in the center aisle are suited for business use, allowing for items to be placed on desks to the left and right. The ‘Extra Long Bed’ offers a 2.2 meters long bed, ‘Privacy Seats’ are located by the window for enhanced privacy, and ‘Classic Seats’ face the aisle.

Additionally, ‘Privacy Seats with Baby’ for those traveling with infants are located at the rear window. A baby bassinet can be placed next to the seat, close to a restroom equipped with a diaper changing table. The ‘Double Seats’ in the last row in the middle can lower the partition, providing ample space for pairs.
