JTB (Japan Travel Bureau) has started additional online sales for Toyama Prefecture’s “Hokuriku Support Discount” from April 17th.
The sales on JTB’s website include tours with accommodation and tours combining air and rail travel with accommodation.
The “Hokuriku Support Discount” is a travel support initiative for Fukui, Ishikawa, Toyama, and Niigata prefectures, which were affected by the Noto Peninsula earthquake. The subsidy is available for stays from March 16th to April 26th (with checkout the following day). The discount rate is equivalent to 50% of the travel expense. The maximum discount is 20,000 yen for standalone accommodation and travel that includes transportation, 30,000 yen for trips involving two or more nights with transportation, and 35,000 yen for multi-prefecture round trips. The discount is available for domestic trips and visitors to Japan, excluding business trips, accommodations, and reservations made before the start of the offer.
