Okura Club & Hotels has reopened the Takanoyu Onsen “Palace Matsukaze” on April 1.
This comes as a result of being appointed the designated manager for the Palace Matsukaze in Takanoyu Onsen and the Furusato Forest Park owned by Shirataka town in Nishikawa County, Yamagata Prefecture. Following the Itadorikawa Onsen Badehaus in Seki City, Gifu Prefecture, this becomes the second facility under their designated management.
The hotel boasts 22 rooms, an onsen (hot spring) public bath with views of the Shirataka town, and outdoor facilities such as a park golf course and tennis courts.
Access is a 10-minute drive from Arato Station on the Yamagata Railway Flower Nagai Line.
